Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include being the main character in the "Hailey Dean Mystery" series. Martin started her acting career at the age of was just seven. The aunt of her mother, who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, was a big help in landing her one small part on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating of Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land important roles on the smaller and large screen. Martin has a background as an actor, in addition to a gifted photographer and dancer, has been working in the field for the past twenty years. Since she is a mother of two children, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. Martin has been spreading the word about this disease ever since her sister's death in the age of 19.
